Reality Rant!

Happy Monday, Everybody... I hope you all had a good weekend.

So, I finally got a chance to watch the season premier of "Real Housewives of Atlanta"... Yipee!!! I was not disappointed AT ALL, this seems as though it's going to be a GREAT season. I just have one question... Why is Sheree having an "Independence Party"??? I mean we know you are happy to be "free" but, REALLY your new house barely accommodates you and the kids, and you're trying to have 50 plus people in the mix. This is all the makings of a disaster, now I ain't no hater but EVERY TIME Sheree throws a party something goes wrong. Think about on the season premier of last season she threw a Big B-Day Bash and there was a problem w/ the guest list, and let's not mention the "fabulous" fashion viewing... well, we all know what happened with that! I mean come one Sheree you're gon'a be broke in a few episodes b/c you know that you're ex-husband is NOT going to pay you those 7 figures, even if it was court ordered. Think about it he didn't pay the mortgage payments or the child support which were also BOTH court ordered. Now, I don't know what's going on in that brain of yours but let's leave Disney World and come back to the Real World, you know that one where you're Real Broke (RoFLoL)!!!! That's not my only problem w/ Sheree... Who trif'lin are you that you show up to a birthday party and not even know who it's for and then take a picture w/ the person like you knew all the time. Sheree you are so WHACK! I know this is supposed to be reality t.v. but clearly she has no clue of what reality is. The reality of the situation is you can fit your new house in the drive way of the old one. Now that I've got that one out of my system...

The new episode of Making his Band comes on tonight, everyone should be excited. I thought this season was going to be dumb but so far I'm liking what I'm seeing. I have a few MicCheck faves out of that I saw. I really digging the singer Charity, the girl has AMAZING; Kristopher, the drummer, the guy is a beast; Brockett, the keyboardist, his style is an amazing fusion of classical and jazz on top of the R&B! Now, I don't know how we are feeling about the "Jaila Stems" character. Don't get my wrong "her" vocal range, control and ability is top-notch but ummmmmm dude you look like a NFL 1st Round draft pick, wearing leggings and BUSTED weave. Kudos to Diddy for peeping game on "her". I about peed on myself laughing when Diddy said, "What's that in front of me? That's a man right". I have to agree w/ Diddy on the whole issue of the weave...I mean in the audition the weave was presentable but, by the time she got to the final audition she looked like she sat in someones beauty salon and said, to the hair stylist "Make me look like a fool, b/c I'm going to audition for 'Making his Band'".
Let's all Thank Jesus for Sunday because we are not Sheree or Jaila. I think that's enough to be thankful for. Thanks for tuning in, see ya next time! -MicCheck
